A few words about us
Jenny Blond is the largest online store with authentic vintage clothing in Greece. It was created by sisters Nancy and Kiki Strataki in 2018. Our love for sustainable fashion and the need to make something completely our own, through which we can express ourselves creatively, led us to create jennyblond.com.
Jenny Blond is an online platform that is far from the e-shops that operate with the logic of mass consumption. For us, fashion is art, it's passion, it's a way of life. Each vintage piece is a collectible, a treasure from the past that increases in value over time.
To say that something is vintage, however, it is not enough that it is old or simply used. Must be at least 20 years old. We also search a lot in different countries to find unique pieces from past decades. We choose them with great care and love and always make sure they reach you in very good condition. However, since these are worn pieces that have traveled through time, it is sometimes possible to have minor defects. We believe that accepting these flaws is part of vintage culture and its charm. Each garment was chosen, worn and loved by someone in the past and is available to be chosen, worn and loved by its new owner.
The name of the company was inspired by the ultimate vintage girl, from the legendary Zoe Laskaris in the movie Girls for Kisses by Finos Film. Style, refinement and dynamism characterize the Jenny Blond girls. But even the Jenny Blond boys are not left complaining because our e-shop also has fantastic men's clothes!
Now our friends from Thessaloniki can also find us at 4 Valaoritou on the 6th floor, where they can see and try on our vintage clothes.
Our companions and constant partners in this venture are our dear friend, the photographer Ioanna Tokmakidou and of course our little brother Thanos Stratakis.
We wear the past, we care for the future. We support the slow fashion movement and participate in environmental protection. We say no to reckless consumption of clothes with a short expiration date. We say yes to clothes that stand the test of time. We say yes to the motto Reduce Rewear Recycle.
